Overview

The purpose of the Human Resources Clerk is to help with the daily administrative operations of the Human Resources department, and interacting and assisting all employees' as needed, while insuring that all Federal and State laws and company policies/guidelines are being followed.

Responsibilities

  • Process new hires and terminations
  • Retrieval and follow up of documentation from store employees
  • Maintain employee’s personal files: original documents, audits, etc.
  • Filing, scanning, shredding, copying
  • Assemble new hire packets
  • Assist with yellow bag process
  • Mail processing and distribution for the department
  • Assist with document translations
  • Back up & assist with projects
  • Sort incoming faxes
  • Perform other job duties deemed necessary by management

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Knowledge of the IBM and ADP software preferred
  • Strong analytical and PC skills preferred
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Must be accurate and assertive with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws
